Happy Wednesday to you!

Do you still believe in your ability to change the world? Or, have you grown weary due to years of hard work without reward? When you started your assignment, was your sole motivation future success? Did you take up your vocation for popularity’s sake? What was your desired outcome?

I know. I am asking you a lot of questions (all with your best interest in mind). This post is a reminder. You may have more years ahead of hard work and no reward. You may present your best work and gain minimal “success”. Take a moment to reflect on this information. Take a moment to release those tears of frustration. Take a moment to vent (sensibly).

Afterwards, get back to work.

Your work is invaluable. Each recipe you share is being used in homes across the world. Your beauty vlogs are uplifting individuals and helping them to discover their self-worth. Your writing provides people with the humor needed to get through a tough week. Your acting is relatable and relevant, giving light to stories (previously untold).

You may never get to speak to each person that you impact. Be careful not to shun the people who applaud and appreciate your efforts. Some people will come to you with few words. They are not mere fans. They are your inspiration and motivation to create greater works. They are your teachers. Receive their heartfelt words. It takes a lot of courage for them to comment on your posts. It takes a lot of courage for them to send you a tweet, a direct message, an e-mail, a video response. Appreciate the support whether it’s tangible or implicit. Let your appreciation and gratitude be sincere.

Get to work on your December vision! You have a world to impact. Until tomorrow,

Love,
CompassionateLee

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
