Health and the Holidays

October 31, 2015

Today is the start of the holiday season for many people in the US. It's a fun day to dress up in creative costumes and attend parties, festivals, and fairs. Most importantly, it's a day to stock up on as much candy as your neighbors can dish out. Hopefully, you dished out the good stuff...and lots of it! Now I could have put up a cool post on great ways to celebrate this day. However, some of my blogging friends have done an excellent job in that area. So I decided to go a different route. Halloween presents a great opportunity to talk about the importance of quality dental hygiene. Although we want to indulge in sweet treats, we also need to make sure that we have healthy teeth to enjoy great cuisine for decades to come. (Seriously!) Below are a few tips that you should share with your family and friends as they partake in all the sugary goodness in the week(s) to come. Simply, visit the links to learn more. As always, I wish you lots of fun and continued wellness.

In the comment section below, tell me your favorite candy. I love a nice square of chocolate with almonds!
