The Time is Yours

It is Labor Day weekend! While some of you have fun events planned for the weekend, others of you will enjoy quiet time at home (glad to be away from the office). No matter what category you fall in, make sure you do what’s best for YOUR overall health.

Drink that extra liter of water you’ve been meaning to drink.

Log off from social media for a day (or two).

Devote a morning or an evening to meditate on God and all the wonders He’s allowed you to experience.

Take a walk along the waterfront or the beach.

Go to a meal at a nice restaurant with your loved ones.

Plan a movie night in with your family or friends.

Finish that book you’ve been reading all summer.

Spend an hour completing your favorite exercise routine.

Listen to your favorite music or a song from an alternative genre.

Pray.

Forgive someone.

Ask for forgiveness.

Speak positively about yourself.

Avoid gossip.

Take a nap in the most comfortable space in your home.

Dance!

You get the gist. This weekend is yours to make a memory that brings YOU joy. Don’t let anyone rob you of that opportunity. As for me, I plan on enjoying some R&R. Blessings to you all! Thanks for always stopping by! In the comment section below, share your plans for the weekend OR the best advice you've ever received.

Love,
