A TIME TO LOVE

As a social worker, I deeply understand the difficulty of this present time. There are no words to convey how much COVID-19 is impacting our world on individual, collective, medical, educational, and financial levels. I am asking you please do your part to demonstrate love through service. Serve yourself by maintaining quality hygiene practices and adhering to recommendations from medical experts/epidemiologists. Additionally, make time for prayer and meditation. Find at least two reasons to be grateful each day. While practicing social distancing, do not isolate yourself from communication with your loved ones if you have access to technology. Use wisdom when you are helping persons in your family and in your community. If you can make meals for others in need, please do so. If you have a generous supply of essential resources, be hospitable towards those in need. If you are an educator, offer free digital tutoring opportunities to students in your community. If you are in need of help, please ask for what you need and do not be prideful. Be safe and share your wisdom with us in the comment section below on safe ways to love one another during these challenging times.

Love,

CompassionateLee

James 3:17-18 But the wisdom from above is, first of all, pure, then peaceful, kind, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. And peacemakers who sow seed in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. ‭‭
