Happy Sunday to you!

I know that you have grand aspirations. Your heart carries dreams and desires that are larger than life. You feel like you are your own greatest cheerleader. You think that no one wants more for you than you desire for yourself. However, there is one whose plan for you is greater than the plans you have devised. This person isn’t your father, or your brother, your sister, or mother. This person isn’t your spouse or your child. Not a relative. Not a friend.

God loves you more than anyone on Earth. He is aware of your deepest longings. Your cares and concerns are not a surprise to Him. He delights in you. He feels the depths of your grief and sorrows. All the dreams that you have for your life cannot be compared to the greatness that He has stored up for you.

So why don’t you make the choice to trust Him? I don’t mean running to God when you’re in trouble. I mean believing daily in His willingness and ability to produce greatness in your life. You can put in all the hard work; however if you leave God out of your plans, you will be unsuccessful. There’s a standard of success that can only be achieved by seeking God’s will and working diligently towards His plan. One thing you should know about God— His plans always involve those things that you care about (and much more).

You want to live debt-free. God wants that more than you can imagine. You want to live peaceably. God wants that for you as well. All the good that you can desire in  life can only be found in God. Give Him your confidence and allow Him to shape your life. There’s no greater happiness or joy to be found outside of living for and with your Creator.

Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. 26 Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
